For Elance projects, terms and conditions for the work are agreed to in advance prior to the awarding of any job. Elance Escrow projects, in which Elance has a more direct project management role, are preferred.

The Elance Escrow program also provides a convenient 1099 service.

Contracting and payment arrangements for work done onsite in the Washington, DC area are in accordance with the terms and conditions established by the client and the contracting agency. These agencies have expertise in special staffing requirements and provide value by ensuring the successful placement of personnel in projects.

The agencies with which Shannon Uplinger is affiliated have direct access to her current schedule. They ensure that Ms. Uplinger's skills are optimally utilized and deliver the greatest possible impact for the benefit of clients.
